Hi, I'm María Villars!
Senior Graphic Designer based in Barcelona. I’ve spent the last eight years helping brands and teams translate ideas into visuals that feel thoughtful, cohesive, and alive; from digital campaigns and branding to illustration and motion.
My approach to design is rooted in clarity, curiosity, and connection. I love the process of understanding how people interact with brands and turning that insight into creative solutions that communicate with purpose. Whether I’m designing a new identity or refining a social campaign, I care about the details that make each project feel honest and human.
I’ve collaborated with international agencies and brands like Spherical (NY) and Syra Coffee (Barcelona), working across digital and print, UX/UI, and creative direction. I’m equally comfortable working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team; for me, open and honest communication is what turns a good project into a great collaboration.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring museums, experimenting with interiors, or sharing a glass of wine with friends. I believe creativity lives in every corner of life, in the conversations we have, the places we explore, and the little details that keep us inspired every day.
