Hi, I’m María Isabel Villars, a Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director based in Barcelona, born and raised in Honduras. I create brands and digital experiences that don’t just look beautiful, they connect, perform, and inspire action.

With 8+ years of experience across agencies, hospitality, and international clients, I’ve worked on everything from brand identities and global campaigns to UX/UI design, motion graphics, and illustrations. My superpower is bridging creativity with strategy: making sure design isn’t just decoration, but a driver of growth and storytelling.

I moved from Honduras to Barcelona to expand my craft, completing a Master’s in Art Direction and another in Digital Marketing. Since then, I’ve collaborated with global teams, mentored creatives, and led projects where design becomes a tool for impact — whether that’s building scalable brand systems, designing campaigns that perform, or crafting visuals that spark emotion.
